The breakfast was very unusual but so good.
They were able to add and remove some of the ingredients I didn’t like.
The room was super big, clean, good shower, very comfortable bed and cosy comforters to keep us warm.
The food menu at the restaurant was delicious and very interesting.
The staff was super friendly and efficient.
10/10 definitely going back
Great stay bit confused on where to check in, no parking spaces, but parking was close by.
Beautiful room, clean, bed comfortable. Dined at restaurant, really enjoyed our meal ..thank you would recommend so convenient too, loved our stay.
the staff at the oyster inn were lovely, steffi was amazing, nothing was too much trouble for her, it was our anniversary when we stayed, and she made it memorable, also the food was fantastic, we will be back.
This property although small was best part of my trip to Auckland/Waiheke island. Hotel staff, food and beverages were great. Short walk to beach and 15-20 mins to wineries! I’ll be back in June!

We had a wonderful stay at The Oyster inn, from the very start when we were met by the wonderful Stefi at the reception desk till we left the day after. The room was nice and clean, quiet at night (I slept like a baby for 7 hours...) and with a nice bathroom.
Waiheke itself was as nice as we had hoped. Beautiful surroundings, a lovely beach (we took a morning swim, a bit chilly at around 15 Celcius...), easy to take the local bus to the wineries at Onetangi Rd.
Wish we had stayed one more day...
We visited the Stonyridge, Te Motu, Tantalus, Man O'War and Mudbrick wineries.

Liked: Staff & service
Very well located and breakfast excellent. Rooms starting to look tired and didn't feel like they were cleaned properly. I don’t think our bedsheets were changed during the 5 nights we stayed which is what you expect for $500 a night.
We found the room very clean. They had gone the extra mile with lovely bathrobes complimentary basket of chips, fruit and chocolates.Staff very friendly. Meal at restaurant exceptional with a lovely chef cooked breakfast included in the price next morning. We will be back.Thank you.Pauline & Kevin
Very quaint place, cozy room, warm staff, loved everything about it. As the restaurant at premise is now closing on T&W they offered me breakfast at the next door restaurant. And, it was delicious.
The Aesop products in the bathroom made me gasp for a hot minute!
We booked for two nights for a girls trip away. The hotel room was lovely and a great size for what we needed. The extra details - bathrobes, aesop shampoo & soap and complimentary snacks in our room made the trip. The restaurant had great food and we were even able to take dessert back to our room one night. The breakfast which was included in our stay was excellent and had a great choice of options for food as well as tea and coffee.
We were able to easily walk to the beach as well as a decent walk to some local wineries. The local buses were easy to use using our AT Hop Card, getting us directly to the hotel from the Ferry and also on to other parts of the island. We will be back!
I stayed at the Oyster Inn for 2 nights in room 3 and enjoyed my stay, I was a bit confused with checking in but that was probably lack of sleep on my part. I was allowed to leave my luggage inside by the reception whilst I went and had lunch.
The room and bathroom were both clean, there were complimentary snacks for guests which not a lot of places provide. It was very quiet at night and I was comfortable.
The only issue was the blaring sound coming from I don’t know where on my first night but I don’t think the Inn could really do anything about that.
The staff were lovely
Overall, I enjoyed my short stay and I recommend the Oyster Inn! I also heard from a family member and family friend that the food and drinks at the connected restaurant were great so will definitely have to try that next time! Would book here again :)))
Couldn't have asked for a better location. So many great eateries within a short distance, so it didnt matter that the Oyster Inn Restaurant itself was shut on Tuesday. Really liked the room. Spacios and bright with a small balcony and the bathroom was huge. Had a noise free night on a comfortable bed and slept well. Highly recommend the community cinema, which is just a short walk from the accomodation, and Nomads for breakfast, even closer.
Would recommend for a shirt stay. Probably the only improvement would be a bin in the bedroom area for the tea/coffee station etc. Apart from that, the room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, albeit basic, as the location and convenience boost the rating.
