This property is tranquil. We did not get an immediate reasonable answer from the staff while being confused with the booking fee from Expedia.

Great customer service from friendly and helpful staff. Excellent shared kitchen area with cutlery,dishes,pots,pans. Stove, microwave, toaster and lockers to store food if needed. We used this area for 1 dinner and 2 breakfasts during our stay. Rooms serviced daily. The only negative for me was that I found the internal airflow system quite noisy but when I mentioned this on check out they thanked me for letting them know and said they would look into it. To end on a good note this is definitely value for money.

Property on arrival had towels everywhere on the floor. The room we stayed in had not been vacuumed and although we stayed for 2 nights, they did make the bed and give us new towels, but still didn't vacuum. I wear glasses and even without my glasses on you could see the dirt on the carpet. Thats why my husband and I never left our luggage/bags on the floor and had to wear our shoes until we went to sleep. Plus side is the Hotel staff were nice, its just a shame that the deluxe room we paid for didn't feel "deluxe"

The best thing in our room was the comfortable king size bed and pillows. The rooms are in need of refurbishment, probably the only update in the last 50 years was the addition of a heat pump. No seating in the room except for one tall stool, no hairdryer, TV only receiving Freeview channels, but not TV1 or TV2. Only kitchen items were cups, glasses, plates, cutlery, a fridge, microwave and jug in the room. But there is no tap or sink in the room to fill the jug - need to use a communal kitchen to cook and wash dishes. Room is marketed as Luxury, but not in this century.

Hotel itself is spartan but clean and quiet. Good bus and train service but a long way from downtown and tourist attractions. Discount mall nearby and shops for Indian and Muslim community. Not as safe after dark. Several bars just up the road with shouting and police sirens at night.

Be prepared for a bit of noise from neighbouring rooms and boy racers. Not the worst by any means. Clean enough. Very handy to airport and Countdown and food markets.

Yes I stayed here 3 nights when I paid for 4! Expedia let me down! 3 palms outside are gorgeous but it ends there. Cheap and clean with pleasant staff.
