The best hostel chain to get full experience.

Great hostel at great location. The room was exactly what we have been expecting even it exceeded our expectations. We choose the private room with own bathroom. Sheets were clean, bed comfortable, very warm blankets. Excelente breakfast.

We haven’t been in an HI hostel in a long time (in our 70s) but were very happy with our overnight stay in HI Aveiro. Staff were lovely, the room and en-suite were very clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was excellent. We walked to it from the bus station via the beautiful park. Not many eateries in the immediate neighbourhood (apart from a McDonalds almost opposite) but only 15 minutes on foot to the many restaurants/cafes in the town centre.

The staff has no courteousy whatsoever and the bed was absolutely uncomfortable and the bed sheet was not clean at all. They even haven't heard about empathy and far away from providing customer service. All they look for is your $$ Again this my opinion and you can give a try and stay and see how awful they are

Strangest place ever

Like some of the reviews have already described this place..I really wondered what type of accommodation this is supposed to be, a school? A prison? A youth hostel? Definitely the strangest place I’ve stayed in and wished I’d read the reviews before booking, as I’d booked it in a rush. Stayed in 6bed female dorm, locked with a physical key rather than the normal electric which meant that I wasn’t “allowed” to lock it at night while I slept, which was scary as a solo female traveller bc anyone could walk in and do as they please. I stayed at the start of Jan = cold weather, when asked how my stay was I said it was freezing all night and barely slept, the answer “..well..” and a shrug :). I also woke up to a bug inside of my bed.

Os quartos são bem simples, mas as vamos são boas e permitem um bom descanso. A estrutura toda merece um pouco mais de cuidados. O café da manhã é melhor que de muito hotel que cobram bem mais caro. A relação custo-benefício foi excelente.

La cuisine se compose d’un frigo et d’un micro-onde. Le petit déjeuner était correct. Bon accueil (à part du jeune homme qui devrait prendre des cours d’anglais et de politesse). La chambre double un peu austère. La terrasse est seulement accessible pendant les heures de petit déjeuner et il n’y a que 3 chaises.

Sitio acorde al precio.

El lugar nos pareció adecuado al precio que pagamos. Habitacion sencilla con baño privado. Nos ibamos pronto de Aveiro y tuvieron el detalle de prepararnos el desayuno muy muy temprano.
