"The hotel staff was friendly and helpful at check-in.
The property is older but reasonably maintained. There is a large pool on site, but did not use it.
The continental breakfast was standard and adequate,
Parking was difficult in the evening because of limited spaces, and several utility and work trucks appeared to be parked on the property, making it harder to find a spot.
My room was generally clean, though I noticed a stain on the carpet. The bed was fine, but the pillows were uncomfortable. For a one-night visit, the accommodations were acceptable, but for a longer stay or family trip, a more updated hotel may be a better choice.
The bathroom appeared clean overall, but the floor was dirty. After wiping it with a paper towel, it came away black with dirt. The bathroom also showed signs of age, including rust and wear. On a positive note, the air conditioning worked well and kept the room comfortable.
Overall, my stay was satisfactory for one night.
One additional observation: after turning off the lights, I noticed a red light on the coffee maker that stayed illuminated and occasionally seemed to flicker. It made me uncomfortable, so I covered the coffee maker and microwave. Management may want to explain the purpose of this light to avoid confusion for future guests.
Thank you."
"I honestly cannot believe this hotel is allowed to operate in this condition. From the moment I walked into the room, it was one problem after another. There were actual drops of blood on the floor, which is absolutely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about cleanliness and sanitation.
The toilet never stopped flushing the entire time and made constant noise, making it nearly impossible to relax. To make matters worse, there appeared to be an entire family of cats living right outside my window. While I like animals, I did not pay for a room overlooking what looked like a stray cat colony.
The furniture had strange slimy-looking smears on it that made me question whether anything had been properly cleaned. The curtains were stained with black dirt streaks and even had cigarette burns throughout them. The hallway smelled damp and musty, like something had been wet for years.
The only positive thing I can say is that the price was cheap, but I suppose you truly get what you pay for. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.
2 out of 10. I would absolutely not recommend staying here unless you enjoy filthy rooms, strange odors, and constant maintenance issues."
"It’s best price around for what you get , sone of the staff are excellent and go above and beyond to make your stay easy and some are not ! They charge a $50 incidental fee that they don’t tell you about till you check in"
"We stayed for one night. Hotel was clean, and we loved the restored/ origional parts of the building!
Checking was easy, and the area is very walkable would love to stay again !"

"Beware of construction 2026-2027.
This was our first stay here (June 2026), and we will give it another shot despite a less-than-ideal experience. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons.
We are not picky travelers, but we expect a bare minimum of cleanliness and a comfortable bed. The mattress was fine, but the pillows were hard and lumpy. Our biggest gripe was the amount of dust in the room. Literally piles of it on the floor, and a coating on the furniture. My wife used a wash cloth to wipe off the nightstands, and it was black.
In all fairness, the renovations are creating absurd amounts of masonry dust and crumbs. Perhaps our room had been cleaned but vacant for a while.
The good:
Convenient location, reasonable rates, friendly/helpful staff, better than average breakfast, nice outdoor pool and patio, free parking. Our room had a kitchenette (oddly, there were two refrigerators but only one barstool). The building itself is a bit like a time capsule. The mailbox between the lobby elevators is connected to a shaft with slots on each floor. There are probably other quirky features that would be fun to discover.
The bad:
Renovations are definitely impacting the experience at the moment. Room could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Restaurant/bar is only open a few days, and air conditioning set very cold, so your food cools off fast."
"By check in. I did not receive a clean room, changed 3 times of room. All where the same thing. By the 3rd room, i decided for them to give a mop and broom and things to clean myself. This is unacceptable. That is disrespectful."
