It was a small and nice place. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was freshly made and very tasty. The host was very friendly. I will definitely go for this place again if I travel to Ayr again.
Double room (not huge) with ensuite shower / toilet. Towels provided.
Room was 3rd floor (tight stairs) . Very clean , nice hot shower. Breakfast was delicious with masses of toast.
Paid £162 via a booking site (tried to book direct but was dearer -work that out...) for a 2 night stay -that's £81 each for room and breakfast -bargin. 4minute walk to a spoons pub !
Would stay again.
I'm not normally one for reviews but this place was great, a proper old school B&B.
The staff were very attentive and friendly, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was one of the best cooked breakfasts I've had.
Lovely clean room with a comfy bed.
Staff were welcoming and breakfast was perfect

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
For a single traveler, requiring a budget, no frills stay, this was excellent.
The location is very good, between the town and the promanade, and situated in a very nice residential area.
The room was on the top floor, acessed by a steep, tight staircase, so wouldn't reccomend it for anyone with mobility problems.
Typical guesthouse, the breakfast was very good and freshly cooked, which sets you up for the day.
Yes, the room was basic and dated, but it had everything that you need and was clean and comfy, so was very happy and will definitely stay there again.
Julie the host was a lovely lady and very friendly. Nice breakfast, ample street parking. Room has an old charm, but all works well for the stay. Clean toilets. Would recommend and will return if the opportunity arise.
Wonderful stay. Comfy bed and very quiet. I stayed single room with shared bathroom. No issues. Bathroom was spotless. I was not able to have breakfast due to work commitments but it smelt lovely. I would highly recommend and will stay again when in Ayr.

Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
The room was very dated and one side of the bed sagged which was uncomfortable, the ensuite was unclean with mildew behind the toilet & shower door however the owner was lovely & could not do enough for you, the breakfast was good too
Great location and parking but wouldn`t stay again.
