Drinks before dinner in the spacious garden then the most delicious, beautifully presented food in the restaurant. Our room was spacious, well furnished and equipped - the air conditioning was very welcome! - with an equally spacious bathroom, lovely toiletries too. Delicious breakfast to end our stay - we have recommended The Chalk Hare to many friends, thoroughly enjoyed our stay last...

"Ideal for a 1 night stay. May need to explain that when they say ‘breakfast included’, its a basket including cereals, croissants, biscuits and yoghurt. Not actually a hot breakfast or a breakfast menu in the pub. Lovely staff. Nice and clean room."

"It was an ok stay. Very basic and a bit tired looking but clean enough if you don’t inspect the stained mattress and marks on the walls. Plus points helpful staff and free parking and next to a service station with an express M&S, Macdonalds, Greggs etc. plenty of electric charging on site."
