Ocean Resort
4/10 Poor
"Air conditioning BARLEY worked. We had it set to 63 and it felt like 70! Tried taking a nice hot shower. Oh wait, that's right they DON'T have ANY hot water. Their water feels like outdoor rain its so cold. Says it's a resort but I never saw a restaurant inside. Water has day old fruit floating in it for flavor but the strawberries looked moldy. Only good thing I can say about this place is that there were thankfully NO bedbugs! Not worth the money paid. Next time I'll pay a little extra to go to the Holiday Inn Express!"

"We love The Schooner Inn! It’s older, but very well maintained. The location is great, pool is wonderful, and rooms are huge with very comfortable beds. This part of the beach does seem to double as an event space (they were cleaning up from a monster truck event when we arrived), so I’d recommend looking into that before booking."

"Room was spacious and very clean. Staff are friendly and greet you with a smile! Breakfast was one of the best selection breakfast I had in all my US stays. Beachfront was superb and on boardwalk as well as access to beach is convenient. Would definitely come back and stay at this hotel"

"Valet parking is a must.. the urgency and kindness the gentleman put in getting your vehicle -I give them a 10-. The staff at check in were nice, asked us what floor we preferred and north/or south side. The overall appearance and the fragrance of the hotel is nice. The bar side during happy hour was pleasant. For dinner we had to wait to be seated, per sign posted with multiple employees walking by before we were acknowledged and seated. After seated we waited again, then finally walked out. Access to the beach was nice except for all the construction/workers getting ready for an event. The room was nice, housekeeping was there each day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will return."
