"We purchased two nights for courtyard bacong on hotels.com. When we got there, one of the staff members told us that they are overbooked and cancelled our confirmed reservation. This ruined our plans to go to Siquijor and Apo island. Moreover, additional costs in hotel, transportation, etc. If this was known earlier than prior to arrival, issues could have be resolved. The owner would not refund our costs, but was kind enough to drop us off at the port."
