Grand Hotel Heiligendamm

"This really is a grand hotel. Would go again. However …. Service was patchy. A good 5 star establishment has greater refinement. Too many small details missing: no tea bags in room, no fresh milk in room fridge, repeatedly tables were laid without a fork or a knife. They don’t know how to serve hot tea - The private beach is beautiful - but nobody checks whether towels are available, nobody clears up during the day."

"The B&B Hotel was a great budget-friendly, centrally-located hotel. All parts of the city were easily accessible, the hotel staff was friendly and spoke English, and everything was very clean. It was also right across the street from a Rossmann and a few grocery stores. I only gave 4 stars because the bed was very uncomfortable; the mattress was hard and the pillows were basically nonexistent because they were so flat. Otherwise, this is a great hotel for a few nights."
