"It is a great hotel with amazing views of the bay from your window. Balcony and outside seating to enjoy the boats and to enjoy a meal or drinks. The best breakfast above and beyond other hotels."
"Everything about our stay at the Great Water Inn was exceptional! Although small, the rooms were very well organized with some tasty artwork! The place was thoroughly clean, the bed itself was very comfortable and we loved the organic cottons and organic toiletries! Soaps and shampoos were very nice! The location was ideal and within walking distance to Lake Superior, shops, music opportunities and dining!
We took advantage of several recommendations by the owners; Hoops for delicious fresh fish, Mannypenny for a variety of breakfast's, both within walking distance, and a short drive to Good Thyme for fine dining was fantastic.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others! We will be back in the future!"
"This property is downtown, but in a quiet area. The room was very nice, clean, and they have some nice breakfast options available that are included with your stay.
Some fun and unique food and shopping experiences are also available in Ashland. "

The place is very personnaly decorated with "northern wisconsin" items and furnishings--We liked the property location..altho Not in town, it was very nice setting I enjoyed conversations withn both of the hosts..
