"I’m not going to take a star off because the hotel itself is very nice, but I do think it is a little pricey. For a two night midweek stay, I didn’t expect it to be as expensive as it was. It was also a little frustrating to communicate through WhatsApp and receive AI-generated answers. While that can be convenient, not every question can be answered accurately that way, and sometimes you really need a person to respond. Parking is located about half a mile away, across the bridge and costs an additional 25 Euro per night. The price could be better considering it is off site and on a lot shared by a variety of hotels and apartments. That said, the hotel is in a great location and is close to everything. Breakfast was nice, with a good selection of breads, hard-boiled eggs, fish, cheeses, and fruit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I think the price could be more reasonable, especially for a midweek."

"Family run hotel and the staffs are super friendly. They were very attentive even in our breakfast hours. They even helped to take our language up in third floor, as the property doesn’t have any lift. A historic city and most of the areas/buildings are not allowed to have such upgrades. We really enjoyed the coziness and great hospitality. Definitely recommended."

"Perfect. Very happy with my single room. Clean room overlooking courtyard. Clear instructions. Careful on the staircase, it can be a bit crooked but apart from that everything very good. Appreciated the fan included with room. Small fridge very helpful, but puts out heat as well, warms the room in hot weather, minor inconvenience."

"Possibly our favorite hotel on this trip. Very clean. It’s an older building that hasn’t had a lot of updates, but our room was spacious with lots of character. No AC, but a fan was provided and the windows could be opened all the way. The floor was carpeted, but new semi-disposable slippers were provided. No hygiene concerns. Bathroom was old and small, but everything worked and it was very clean. Staff very friendly, breakfast good."

"The hotel has a fantastic location right on the lake, and the property itself is certainly unique. However, several practical issues affected our stay. The rooms became very stuffy during the hot summer days, and since there is no air conditioning or fan in the room, it was difficult to cool them down at night. The windows also lack mosquito screens, which makes it hard to leave them open for air circulation. There are not many amenities to speak of, although the breakfast and the restaurant overall are very good and priced accordingly. Overall, while the property has a special charm and a beautiful lakeside setting, we felt that it did not offer particularly good value. We stayed for five days because we had a prepaid arrangement; otherwise, we probably would have moved to a different property. It is a unique place, but for us, three days would have been enough."
