" Stayed 7 nights April 2024. Very quiet location. Close to station. Reception friendly and efficient. Hotel furnishings and floor coverings look worn and tired. My double-bedded room on small side but adequate. Bed comfortable. Good wardrobe with adequate number of hangers. Bathroom compact but adequate with very good shower. "After reading a bad review, we were unsure whether to book but it was unwarranted because our stay was wonderful! The host was welcoming, helping us with a restaurant booking nearby. The room was the largest we have stayed in since travelling around France. It said online it had air conditioning but it had a fan which was sufficient as the large room was very cool."

Such attention to detail in service and surroundings.immaculately clean and high spec rooms. We saw lots of wildlife which added to the experience.
