"Everything was as expected"

"Fab modern room overlooking the river towards the city. The hotel has lovely sauna/ steam room facilities on the top floor by beware these are only open from 5 pm and not available if you want to use them in the morning. We chose not to eat in the hotel restaurant but at one of the many busy restaurants available locally. The lovely City of Bremen was a short walk along the river from the hotel, well worth doing. Secure Parking was available next the hotel at a very reasonable rate."

"The Edelweiss Hotel was only 60 metres across the square to the front of Bremen Hauptbahnhof station, which was my main concern as I was travelling around mainland Europe on Interrail, staying just one night in each location. There was an Irish bar just around the corner, and it was about ten minutes' walk to some decent restaurants. Price was reasonable, although I didn't choose the breakfast as I felt that was a little pricey - perhaps a mistake as there was a decent café at the railway station."

"Did the online check in since I received an email prior to my arrival. The staff had none of my credentials and I had to fill out the form again. Staff was very unresponsive and could not even remember my name from one moment to the other. Presented my ID twice in 3 minutes. Staff didn't remember if I had to pay the bill or if it was already paid. I checked then on hotels.com app. Room very basic. Beds are on wheels that cannot be blocked. Windows could not be opened. There was no WiFi. Positive was that it was very cheap and the water in the shower was hot."
