"You only get a bedroom and bathroom.I was not told, you need to pay to use the lounge and cooking Area in the huts...Are place had lots of flys the bed was cheap IKEA!! And had a flytrap under it And as so a night of passion was out the window. ps the nice bridge as you come in the place is a working? "staying at Maison D’eclaibes was the most memorable stay of our two week trip to Europe. My favorite quiet environment in the countryside. The host listened to my limited English conversation. And for my wife love of boiled beans. And the next morning it came out for breakfast. Please continue staying at this inn forever. If possible, i would like to visit again someday. "Difficult to say if this is a hotel or a restaurant with rooms. For us it was the last. Very nice place with beautiful outside area. But we stayed 5 nights, and the whole hotel is closed untill 16.00 everyday. You have to give in your key to get cleaning, and can not get it before 16.00. The pool is also closed. So if you want your room and the pool, you will not ger cleaning. In our view the staff is very friendly, but need better management, so they need to know what to do and when. There is...

"Wonderfully quaint B&B in and old mill. Our room was right up in the roof space. Might not be suitabe for some as the stairs are very steep and windy, and our room had two low beams at face height, but it certainly had character and charm."

Pleasant stay in heart of simple village

"Lovely room in converted buildings. Danielle is a helpful host. When we arrived, our two dogs were not allowed to stay with us in the room or allowed into property. We had communicated they were travelling too but received no message back to say dogs were not permitted. The owner found them a stable to sleep in. Simple breakfast available, overpriced for what it was, but tasty enough. Room was very comfortable with plenty of space. "

"Excellent. Stunning setting. Villas were beautiful. Only downside is that there were a lot of cobwebs. Think we may have been the first of the season Second bedroom Could do with bed side lights and there needs to be another mirror other than the one in the main bedroom. Bigger tv and Netflix would be a good addition! None of this affected our stay. We had a lovely time. The surrounding area is amazing "

"The chalet was clean, although small, there was sufficient space for our motorcycle gear and space outside to leave luggage. The area around the lake is good for walking and due to it being end of season, very quiet throughout the day and night. The breakfast service was poor and does not represent good value. The first day there were no bowls for creals and no clean tea mugs. On the second day we were the only two diners. The cleaners were in the room drinking coffee when we arrived so there was not enough coffee left. I asked for more, they gave us a flask, locked the service room and left. They hadn't made more coffee but simply topped up the flask with water so the last bit we had was undrinkable. We then realised they had locked away the breads and croissants, leaving us nothing to eat. I told the office about this and as we had only eaten half a breakfast I asked for a refund of one but this was refused. We had a long ride that day and wanted a good start to the day, not to pay for the cleaners' breakfast. Overall the stay was good and I recommend it to others but advise against having the breakfast. "

Hot day- No air conditioning-disappointed

"Lovely old building with pleasant grounds but the unit lacked a great deal. Firstly, no air conditioning on a 34 degree day is a huge problem for anyone. We had to ask for a fan and leave windows on ground floor open all night in order to get some kind of sleep. NOT IDEAL for safety. Kitchen facilities were lacking, no chopping/cutting board, no sharp knife to cut anything, no microwave heating bowl, slow oven top, no egg spatula or tongs, no toaster. Basics such as little bottle of oil for cooking & small milk to use coffee machine would have been nice touch. "
