Great inexpensive spot in Bakersfield.

I stay in Bakersfield occasionally, for the price range of hotels that I stay in, this one is by far the best. The people that run this hotel were great.

Staff very friendly. Rooms super clean and extra space. The room has a fridge and microwave. Is nice. Only problem. The room 221 shower drain clog. Not big deal, I really recommend this hotel. Plus parking lot is secure with automatic gate.

It’s a pretty standard hotel. The most affordable hotel in an area that isn’t that nice or “beautiful”. Added parking gate for security is the main reason we chose this location. Breakfast coffee was good. Bedrooms were nice but not sound proof. Not a bad stay!

Clean beds, security gate No glasses, no kleanex, no coffee, no drawers or a place to hang anything. Office locked at 7am. No contental breakfast. TV didn't work properly. Very disappointing for a Wyndom property.

I only stayed because it had a security gate. Rooms were clean and staff was nice, but I would not recommend it to my friends. Worst neighborhood in Bakersfield.

Let's just say that the area isn't the prettiest, but my room was really clean. Inside the property was chill no loud neighbors. Well worth it's price, I felt some kind way when I first got there. But you can't beat it for it's price.

Clean, Roomy, Comfortable

Very well kept property with ample parking. 24/7 vehicle access was only through a security gate: a sad necessity for an area with a lot of homeless and petty crime. Staff were very friendly. My room was very clean. I liked the tile floors throughout and the bed and pillows gave a great night's sleep. Shutters on the windows allowed for good privacy and dark room. This Super 8 will be at the top of my list on my next business trip to Bakersfield.

Better than it looks

Property is enclosed by a fence, entrance gate lets you enter and leave, spacious room with one bed, clean and simple room, refrigerator and micro wave, lots of pillows running from soft to hard, location of hotel is in a quiet and dark area at night, but safe. Breakfast was very very simple, coffee, orange juice, breakfast bars, some other items and oatmeal. Staff is excellent checking in and out, informing me that if I need anything feel free to call front desk. I was leery of the location, but after staying here, I would definitely repeat. I felt safe. Thank you to the lady registering me into the hotel, friendly and very helpful.

We got what seems to be a remodeled room which was nice clean good bed we stayed there for a night, but the place is a little sketchy and some of the ppl who I saw staying over, even tho it’s gated it didn’t feel safe to stay there more than a day definitely you get what you pay for
