"This is a older classic decor style hotel which is elegant. However, it is not maintained well enough to keep it's quality up to the level of excellence expected. There was a constant drip from the faucet in the bathtub. There were also way too many scuff marks on the walls in the hallway. There were at least 3 days when the cucumber and fruit water with ice ran out and was not refilled. Finally, the bedding and towels were bright white and well arranged, however the carpet is quite dusty; because the dust set off allergy symptoms of sneezing and runny nose each morning."
"We were there for 3 days. No one checked the waste basket, so there were several days of trash that we had to put in a plastic bag that we obtained from a retailer. Also, no one gave us fresh towels. I asked for towels at the front desk. They were left on the bed while we were out, but no one took the old dirty ones that were on the bathroom floor.
The front desk staff was very nice. They answered all our questions and helped with direction."
"Everything functioned but you can see it is starting to show its age. One elevator worked and was slow at times and in certain places the wallpaper and paint were peeling in places. Still awesome for the price and location."
"The hotel was clean, quiet, and in a fantastic location directly across the street from the Inner Harbor. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making check-in a pleasant experience.
Unfortunately, the restaurant inside the hotel was disappointing. The menu was extremely limited, and the food was served cold and lacked flavor. Another issue was that the television in the room turned on and off by itself several times throughout the night, which was a bit disruptive.
Overall, I enjoyed the hotel's cleanliness, welcoming staff, and convenient location, but the restaurant and TV issues could definitely use some attention."
"Great location and first class establishment. Very safe, secure and picturesque views of the harbor and super high quality hotel. One of the best I have stayed in Baltimore as well as DC. Exceptional in one word"
