Leonardo Hotel Cork

Leonardo Hotel Cork

8/10 Good
"This is a well-located hotel in the centre of Cork, near the railway station and bus station (from the railway station, use the exit on the south side via the subway). I found the room a bit hot as I stayed during a heatwave and there is no air conditioning. A fan was provided. The window opened onto a busy street so there was some noise at night. The room was a bit tired but pretty clean; there were some dusty lampshades which could easily have been seen to. Breakfast was from a buffet and there was plenty to choose from. Absolutely fine at this price point."

Imperial Hotel

8/10 Good
"We stayed in the older part of the hotel. The floor was creaky and the armoire rattled loudly when you walked around the room. It was a clean, large room and the mattress was excellent. It was very quiet except for the last night when I was awakened by the sounds of a band and drumming. Popped my earplugs in and went back to sleep. One major issue was that we were unable to change the temperature or the heat/air conditioner setting in the room. We had to ask the front desk to change it 3 times. Our friends stayed in the newer section for more money and their room was much nicer. I think it would have been worth the cost."
