Top Ballindalloch Hotel Reviews
Coylumbridge Resort Hotel
8/10 Good
"Check-in was slow as usual. There's a fast-lane for those of us who had checked in online, but it was getting used as a general lane. The person checking us in needed to know who we'd booked with (why? It was all paid, and I'd already checked in online). Next he asked my name, but then said 'No, no, no.' I was sure I was right, but he was sure I was wrong. But then he found me on his computer screen and it turned out that I did know my name. Staff were exceedingly pleasant and helpful, especially the dining area staff. Top marks. Queues at busy times (buffet style) but the food was fine, though not spectacular. For the cost of the meals, one could have a lovely table service meal in a restaurant but if all-you-can-eat appeals, it's not bad. There's plenty of car parking spaces, but lots of white vans parked - and long-wheel base vans take up at least two spaces, and sometimes more if they are wide. Dedicated parking spaces for vans would be useful. At night, it can be hard to find a nearby parking spot but the coach car park always has spaces. Overall, cheap and very good value for money and I do recommend this venue without hesitation."

Macdonald Spey Valley Resort
8/10 Good
"Great cabins and well set out so you donโt look into anyone. We had a great stay with the exception of the mattresses which were really uncomfortable and old in both rooms and the sofa bed you couldnโt use as the mattress was too thin. We had to take a mattress from the top bunk to be able to use the sofa bed. Apart from that it was nice and the pool was good and staff exceptional"
The Boat Hotel
8/10 Good
"Staff were lovely and accommodating. Restaurant food was amazing. Hotel room was lovely and big enough for the 3 of us. Hotel was lovely and clean. Had a small disappointment when bathroom was not cleaned on request."
Craigellachie Hotel of Speyside
10/10 Excellent
"This place is a must if you are visiting Speyside. A most unique and charming experience. From the restaurant serving Scottish dishes, to the Quaich Bar with its outstanding selection of whiskeys, our stay here was incredible and memorable. The rooms are well appointed and clean, and staff were beyond welcoming. A perfect spot for day trips to the nearby distilleries."

Dalmunzie Castle Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed hanging out in the lounge -- and a delicious dinner in the restaurant. We stayed one night en route to Balmoral. We also did the Persie Gin Distillery tour and tasting which was nearby - and we would not have known about it but for the Dalmunzie website. Their site includes lots of helpful info about the area"
Highlander Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Our room was clean. Used to a king size bed so double bed took a little getting used to again. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good."
