"Lovely home which suited our needs for our short stay in Derry. Was able to park car outside the property which was ideal. Was a short walk to Ebington square were there are some bars and places to eat. It was an easy walk to centre of Derry.would recommend. "

"Everything about Helen's house is amazing! - Beds are comfy - Decor is stunning - Very clean - Excellent location - Everything we needed for our first cup of tea (including biscuits!) We would definitely stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay in this cute house that has everything we could need, a lovely back yard, and a good location. Hazel went above and beyond - we had accidentally thrown away a souvenir ring and she sent it back to us in the US and she did it with no hesitation! "

"The host was lovely and gave us recommandations for what to do in the region. The little hut was cozy and warm, perfect for relaxing. We hope to come back in Northern Ireland, and we'll definitely be staying at the Sheperd's Hut again. Cheers!"

"From the moment you enter you can tell this is a good hotel. The reception staff are wonderful - exactly who you would want to welcome you and explain everything you would need to know. The room was great...we were in a relatively inexpensive room so our view was predominantly other buildings' walls. We could not fault the bed - very comfortable and the shower room - very hot, powerful shower. We ate in the restaurant for our breakfasts and one evening for dinner. Absolutely excellent food and again great folk serving the food. A joy to be there. We would recommend your staying here if you were visiting Derry - a great little hotel in the heart of the walled City. Perfect!"

"The room was clean but furnitures are old and beat up. The property really need serious renovation, the entrance was closed due to on-going construction. Phone charger and outlets need an upgrade or at least provide portable plug for new tech. accessories. The staff are fantastic and very helpful, I personally feel bad that they have to work under that kind of condition, and having minimum resources to accommodate guests' simple requests"
