Brilliant from start to finish, from the wee man at the front door doing the complimentary valet parking to the waiting staff was exceptional, the food was just beautiful in all the restaurants especially the Castle kitchen restaurant and the added bonus was the transport to the castle , excellent!!!! The spa and thermal village is just amazing even in January!!!! We will definitely return in the not too distant future, 5 star !

Overnight with thermal village

Overnight stay at half term with great time spent in the thermal village. Lots of great facilities to enjoy. Good dinner in Gillies. However the hotel misses the opportunity to provide fine dining in the river room.

Fantastic stay

Stayed in the Shepherds hut for the first time and was excellent. A 5 min walk to get to the main hotel for dinner, but access to the spa is a 2 min walk. The huts are fantastic - private, spacious and very well equipped.

Lovely relaxing break

Lovely cottage break. Spa was brilliant as always but a little busier than before. Part of the spa was closed for renovations which was a shame as we enjoy the infinity pool.

We stayed at the Shepherd Huts which were beautifully furnished, exceptionally clean, included a impressive complimentary mini bar and incredibly comfortable bed. Couldn’t fault them. The spa is very impressive.
