"Okay room except the walls seem very thin. Could hear the voices and bumps from neighbouring rooms. The person in the room next door flopped on their bed and it shook our bed. Also found the “gym” lacking. It’s not really a fitness center, more like a room with a few pieces of equipment. It doesn’t open until 9 am which makes it useless for people wanting to work out in the morning before heading to work."
"Great location! Lots of surfing! Great for walking around
Layout of hotel is unique and comfortable.
Parking is a bit of luck , depending on parking availability, but fine
Plenty off food and beverage options close by .
Extremely good value hotel"
"The employees here are very nice and helpful!
The room was average. And that is being kind. The tv only faces one way , old and needed to be replaced. The room was not up to par for what we were charged.
***Parking**If you are driving, the parking is horrendous! It goes between parking close and very very tight parking spots or going to the other closest one where you have to haul your luggage.
It would be very helpful to have some direction on where to park. It was blocked by cabs so you could not see it."
"Perfect location. The only thing that some people may not like is that this hotel does not have an elevator. The front desk guy was helpful though and brought our bags to our room for us."
"Beautiful hotel in a perfect location very close to the bus station, tour company office and main attractions. The bed was super comfy and breakfast was delicious. Close enough to Shop St. but we didn’t have to suffer the noise of the bustling pubs while trying to sleep. Highly recommend."
"Would not recommend staying at this property. I did find the staff extremely friendly and the first room we were given had been freshly painted and the odor was nauseating. The lobby furniture has stains all over it and the rooms are extremely dated."
"Rustic elegance. No television, how refreshing is that? Wolfgang and Maria are terrific hosts, super friendly and thoughtful. We had a wonderful stay."
"Everything about this place was perfect. The owners were so amazingly kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were large and well appointed. The sitting area was charming. Sitting area by the horse near the entrance was so welcoming and we enjoyed visiting with other travelers. We also enjoyed the game room and playing pool. The view out of our window was amazing looking over field of cows and natural beauty. The parking area was huge. The location seems so secluded, but it’s an easy walking distance to the village."
