"The room I stayed in was clean, the bed was comfy, the room was dark and quiet. It was a disabled room which I hadn't asked for. the bathroom was huge but there was no toilet lid and the wash basin was tiny even though the shower was good. There was no kettle in the room, which was a major disadvantage for me but you can get a drink from the cafe upstairs and bring it back to your room. Not brilliant. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast was ok, but not very warm, although you could get as much as you wanted."

"It’s a good enough location with easy access to train and pubs; however, the “executive” room is a queen size bed for two people and the room is standard for the location. The bar in the hotel is very cute and has a good view if you make reservations. My experience was clouded by the fact that the water pressure in the shower just sucks and the a/c in the room did not work. My friend and myself were not able to get good rest and did not feel like even notifying the staff when we found out because we were already showered and ready for bed by the time we realized it did not work. The rooms also do not have phones to contact front desk, so you are forced to head all the way down to the lobby, and windows do not open. Our pillow cases had stains. It’s also important to note that prior to us heading to our room that evening we asked for a few extra towels and the staff asked so many questions to just hand us a pair of towels. Next day, when we notified them about the a/c staff took zero accountability. I won’t be staying here again."

"I wanted to like this hotel more than I did. After a lively conversation with an airport taxi driver, I expected more than an indifferent reception from the front lobby staff. As a first-timer to Scotland, this slightly dampened my excitement about being in Glasgow. No one greeted me or asked if I needed anything when I hesitated in the lobby. A few of the front staff didn’t even look up from their computers. This hotel is a four-star, so I expect more than a shrug when inquiring about Glasgow attractions. At the bar, I waited seven minutes for someone to ask if I needed anything, even though several staff members rushed back and forth between the bar and the separate restaurant. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was small. I didn’t find space for my toiletries, and the hotel offered no guest amenities. The room service is limited, but the pricing is reasonable. The good news is that the hotel is in the city center and close to the train station. Would I return to this hotel? No. But it has its benefits."

"Staff was nice and room was cleaned daily. We did notice some maintenance needed to be done in the shower. Caulking on the shower was over it service life and cracking causing mold growth. We also noticed stains on the comforter. Lastly, wished breakfast was included with hotel stay. "

"The rooms are shabby and not very clean. Went down for breakfast on the day of checking out only to find a cleaner in our room who did not speak English. Why would she be in a room cleaning when we were not leaving the room until 11am. I’m an IHG member that means absolutely nothing these days. Holiday inns do nothing to fresh the place up because they know that they have the monopoly at this airport. "

"Good location for walking to Kelvingrove and handy for other places of interest. Enjoyed breakfast and evening meal."
