Easy access to picking up key after midday so able to come and go as please. Lovely room with facilities and views. Fantastic cooked breakfast with plenty of other choice. Fantastic and friendly host. Would definitely recommend.

The host was great and makes a mean full english breakfasts, there were also lots of other things to use from. Bedding smelt beautiful, A Overall stay was fantastic, we would definitely return.

Mark made us feel right at home.He was so friendly and welcoming.We had room 2 for the night.The king bed was so comfortable we slept like two logs.The bathroom had a fantastic power shower and nice soft towels.The whole place was spotlessly clean.For breakfast there were all sorts of cereal,fruit,yoghurts and drinks to choose from.Out cooked breakfasts went down great guns.A highly recommended place to stay.

The cooked breakfast was beautiful & the fresh blueberries were honestly the best I’ve ever had! Warm & friendly hosts. Sitting in front of the fireplace in the evening was an extra and lovely treat. Thankyou so much for having us. Glad we found you! 😊

Wonderful Accommodation
Perfect location, wonderful hosts , wonderful cooked breakfast . Made to feel at home. Roaring fire and films …. Bamburgh castle a stones throw away . Couldn’t recommend enough.

Perfectly placed to explore Bamburgh. Top restaurant The Potted Lobster, only yards away, and a 10 - 15 minute walk to the beach. Golfers? Don't miss a chance to play the beautiful links course at Bamburgh Castle Golf Club.

Excellent place, exceeded our expectations. Room was fairly spacious, clean, and comfortable--we had just flown a red eye from Canada to London and then to Newcastle, and this place was wonderful for us to recuperate from our jet lag. It was especially nice that we could check in during the early afternoon, as that is when we needed it. Breakfast was excellent and the host was very friendly. Excellent location, in walking distance of everything in Bamburgh.

Hillcrest House, small town B&B on the coast.
The Hillcrest House B&B was a fine stay, the owner/manager was most pleasant to speak with in the AM, instructions were promptly given to us via text to open the front door ourselves and show our way in. The front door step could have brighter lighting, while entering was easy in the afternoon, after dinner was more challenging in the dark. The room was spacious, but a few items need attention: closet carpet needs to be cut, bathroom sink needs a little adjustment for more water flow. Extra bathroom TP roles were left on stairs to be brought up, we had the family room on top floor, but extra bed was not done up. Sheets and pillows were out, but bed forgotten to be made up. It’s not hard for us to do, but… as guests we shouldn’t have to. The comfort and spaciousness and easy access to Pubs/dinner spots and the castle, certainly made up for any extra efforts we put in. It was enjoyable stay overall.

The property is excellent and location great. In Bamburgh walk to pub and eating places. The castle within walking distance. Staff at breakfast excellent. Great place to stay and explore Bamburgh and coast.

This B&B was one of the best ones we have ever stayed in. Malcolm, the owner, couldn’t have been more obliging in all aspects of our stay. It was within walking distance of the magnificent Bamburgh Castle and the lovely beach. Our room was perfect as was our breakfasts that Malcolm cooked each morning. Definitely 10 out if 10 for this place.

Malcolm, our host, made us feel not only welcome but right at home. Not only were his breakfasts delicious, his smiling face, his hospitality, were top notch! Little break in Bamburgh
Great little B&B in an excellent location. Breakfast was very nice and no wait to be served. Beds were comfy and had best night's sleep we'd both had in ages. Will definitely stay again.
