"I wasn’t able to stay at the location booked as it was not available upon my arrival although I was able to book via Expedia. The property support was able to reassign me to rooms at their other location, Kiridara Luang Prabang, but I have not been able to get confirmation of the pricing for the reassigned rooms and appropriate refund as I believe the new room charges are less than what I paid for the villa room. "What an absolutely amazing resort! The service is impeccable and the staff will go out of their way to cater for you. The breakfasts are cooked for you to a very high standard. My only gripe is I wish there could be more of an “adults only’ area as I am slightly allergic to children screaming outside my bedroom at 6am"

"The breakfast menu is great. However I had to ask for the plate of boiled eggs not to be left in the sun! Everything else was perfect. The pool and location are great. The venue is just a short walk to the day and night market. The Mekong is nearby too and the ‘Coffee Club’ cafe"

"Mekong Riverview is an excellent option if you want to have a unique experience in Luang Prabang. It may not have the amenities of a five-star hotel, but I enjoyed it a lot more than staying at a cookie-cutter five-star hotel. The architectural distinctness, the sense of privacy, and most importantly, the helpfulness of staff made the stay so pleasant. In particular, they let me use my room after I checked out so I could stay in an air-conditioned room (not common in LP) until the taxi driver to the airport arrived. Definitely recommended. "

"This was easily one of the most luxurious resorts I’ve ever stayed in. It is the previous French Governors mansion that was converted to 20+ room resort with bunnies and other fauna roaming the grounds. The rooms were right out of an Indochina romance with private gardens and an outdoor soaking tub. The stone tiles were pleasant on the feet"
