"Staff is extremely rude, except one young man. Gave us whatever room they felt like, lady said I booked a random room 😆although the reservation clearly said the room type. She changed it though after a brief argument. Room was extremely hot, no AC, only a couple of fans. Bed and towels were dirty. Property is cute though, too bad the staff is rude."

"The grounds of the property as idyllically situated. Guests can take a courtesy shuttle to the Park or Khlong Sok. One can hear monkeys howling in the morning and many different birds. The food was great. The staff were pleasant. Pool was clean."

"Breakfast was limited and crowded. Drinks Menu at pool bar was very limited. Could Not order a cocktail that was not in the menu. Beach club food was sub par and riddled with birds that swooped on food constantly. Prices overall for food and drinks were way too expensive compared to other hotels in the Khao Lak area. Housekeeping looked understaffed and took until a call to reception at 5.40pm to get the room serviced. Didn’t hate the place but I’m sure I won’t be going back."

"We truly felt like we were in the heart of the jungle, with all the positives you would expect that to bring, and a few negatives too. The sights and sounds of the wildlife are inescapable and breathtaking, with memorable views particularly at sun up or sun down. Some of the facilities are at the mercy of the elements, with ‘outdoor feeling’ shower and bathroom. There were very minor communication difficulties around the breakfast ordering. The menu seems to be updated every day, and is a series of dishes from hot ‘Americano style’ eggs and bacon, to a granola and yogurt course and a fruit platter. The food was excellent, but didn’t offer choice so fussy eaters may struggle at breakfast. Navigating the property with its slightly precarious walkways and steps would be next to impossible for those with physical disabilities, but disorder a Robinson Crusoe type feel. "

"Beautiful location! Exceptional staff! Our cabin was very nice. No a/c, but the two fans saved us. There was no hair dryer in the cabin, but they had them available for the asking. There was no fridge in the cabin, but they were happy to provide ice. I think we would’ve found it easier to climb into bed if the mosquito netting opening was at the side of the bed instead of the foot. They do not accept credit cards, but we were able to book our excursion online. The food was delicious and the presentation delightful. The free shuttle to the old town was an added bonus! Did I mention the amazing staff!?! "
