Warm welcome, everyone is very caring. well located, in old Bangkok. To get there, take a taxi as instructed by the hotel, as the bus from S1 airport dropped us off in the middle of nowhere. Yolly, thank you for your kindness

Not meeting expectations
Not understanding why this hotel has received such good ratings. Its a pretty hefty walk to the Khosan Road if you have luggage... And I would describe the immediate area as threatening and scary as opposed to simply quiet. Room was nothing special and reception seemed as much closed as open. You get what you pay for... And it's inexpensive.

The bed could use a little padding, but enjoyed my stay. I even stayed two nights longer than my original reservation.
Aileen, the receptionist, was incredible. Many good conversations with her. I saw her always accommodating and professional with all the customers. She always had good information about places to visit and how to get around.
One of the best tips was how to use the bus to get to Suvarnabhumi Airport. Ride was only 40 minutes and cost was 60 bahts vs 600 for a cab.

Good place to stay in Bangkok
Pretty good location, close to Khaosan Road, but not too close (quiet at night). Friendly and helpful staff, nice room, comfortable bed. Additionally I had a desk and a chair which I liked a lot.
