Despite renovations the quality of the stay and the new rooms are great. The restaurant nahm is great, as is the room service food. But best of all is the staff. At all levels they try to make you as welcome as possible.

This has been a go to hotel for me in Bangkok, the staff are great the area is also great, it needed some maintenance but unfortunately the refurbishment by Paola Novane has not hit the mark. The reason for our stays is it felt authentic Thai now it feels like a new looking hotel. Unfortunately we will look for another authentic thai hotel to stay in the future.
