Breakfast was the only plus point for this hotel. This hotel really needs major renovations cause everything is old. No CCTV around any of the rooms so security and safety of the guests are not there. Hotel is in the middle of major shopping centers so it gets very hectic during the day. Location is perfect but the hotel is really old and needs maintenance (change of tiles, room paint, beds, full bathroom renovation, living area renovation etc)

Stayed in 2 bedroom suite, sure its dated but perfectly fine and clean, and you cannot beat the price....2 bedrooms 2 baths lots of space. Great view off the balcony.

We had to change rooms because the room and the carpet was so very dirty. So bad that we couldn’t believe they put us in 1904. The safe were ok about it and moved us the next morning. The new Junior Suite was so much better and no carpet. Great location

Other than the good location , Grand Diamond is a very old hotel , everything in the room is old , tv wire everywhere, control not working , there is stain on the sofa. The breakfast is also disappointing, in the past they used to serve sumptuous breakfast but now only simple dishes n most of it is cold even the porridge

This hotel is closed to all shopping activities. Their service is great and offer breakfast buffet. It is older building which has larger room size. One issue I encounter was electic outlet in the bedside is connected with central contol. Since I have to use CPAP machine, I need to unscrewed the light bulb :-(

The pictures of the room is not as shown. Rooms (our were two junior suite) were dated and carpet not properly cleaned, musty smell permeate the rooms. Would have been better if floor is laminate wood instead. Can skipped the breakfast option, even though some options we took outside the hotel are not that much better, and more expensive to boot.

The location was very accessible to everything, next door to Platinum mall, just a short walk to Big C and Central World. Canal boat going to MBK is very close. Staff are all friendly and speaks well in English. Room was spotless every day. And the breakfast buffet was satisfying. We're already planning to come back next year at this hotel. Grand Diamond Hotel is awesome.
