The check in was delayed, due to the room not cleaned when I arrived at 2:30pm. I left my bags in my friend’s room and went to lunch down the block at the Blue Boar. Great food and affordable btw. After returning to the hotel, I was given my room keys and proceeded to the fourth floor. This floor was very banged up. The carpet had many large stains, the walls were scraped up badly and there was patchwork on the walls with tape that was peeling. However, worse was an odor. Perhaps it was from attempting to clean the carpet stains? I’m not sure what the odor was, but it continued inside my room. I booked a Jr Suite that is a large spacious room with a lot of ventilation and great views. I’ve stayed in this room type several times at this hotel. This was the first time I noticed a smell that wreaked of cigar smoke. It smelled like cleaning supplies and cigar smoke. The room was clean and not complaints on the amenities. The smell was unpleasant.

Solid property at the end of Soi 18. Quiet street off Sukhimvit’s hustle and bustle. Great staff. The property could use a once over on paint and carpet in the hallways.

The room was really small and i noticed that the carpet in the room was filthy and the bottom of white curtain under the blackout curtain was nearly black- it probably never had a wash. The staff were good, good amenities but i did not like the area and i definitely had concerns about the room's cleanliness.
