The gold star of The Salil is the staff. I've learned this is common of Thailanders, but the staff of The Salil are some of the most sincerely warm and helpful people I've ever met. Second only to the staff is the hotel itself. Immaculate, cultured, beautiful. The theme is hard to describe -- There are giant flamingos bursting from eggs in the lobbies, there's a Secret Garden, and the walls are covered in beautiful murals. I could say more, but once more for the staff, who made this a truly pleasant and unforgettable stay.

Dusty and outdated room, especially the bathroom is moldy. The staffs are nice and friendly. The Thai outfits are bonus.
