Great service until Check out
Everything was excellent I would say until check out. Even though I only stayed for 2 nights, the hotel could do better by giving me ample advice especially during times of Covid where travel procedures are so messy. I asked what I should do with my 5th day ATK self test, the receptionist wasnโ€™t too sure how to upload results to Morchana app. And when I enquired about where I can take ATK self test before leaving Bangkok, she replied as though it is no longer the hotelโ€™s responsibility since Iโ€™m not staying with them. She just mentioned BNN Hospital nearby and assumed I am familiar. As a SHA Plus hotel, I would have expected all staff to be well informed & helpful as ambassadors of Bangkok. Other than this incident, I must say most of the receptionists & porter were very very friendly.

The W is always of consistent quality. Rooms are great, good staff, clean and a pool with a nice vibe. What I struggled with is the complete lack of anything sustainable. I expect more from a chain like this. So many single use plastics. Even our shampoos got replaced after only one dat of use, while we easily could have used just one bottle for our whole stay. At the breakfast buffet you had to wear disposable plastic gloves. Which I get from a Covid perspective, but there are better and more sustainable ways to solve this.

Will definitely stay with W Bangkok again
Overall their guest service team Pim, Jui, Larn and Jason Wei provide a tip top guest service. Love the whatsapp assistant service they have where by we can get their help even when we are outside. Brrakfast spread was good! The only issue i have is the noise from the bts as well as neighbour room flushing sound. Other than that we are happy to go back to W Bangkok for our next visit to BKK. Kudos to your team!
