The scenery is incredible, the atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful and relaxing, and it was the perfect place to unwind for a couple of days. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful before and throughout our stay, arranging our shuttle, bike hire and restaurant reservations with ease. The food was excellent too – we enjoyed two fantastic meals and a superb breakfast. Our only minor issue was the lack of air conditioning during a particularly hot spell. However, we completely understand and respect the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, and it certainly didn’t detract from what was a fantastic stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend Castel Clara to anyone looking for a memorable stay on Belle-Île."
