"The apartment was everything we were looking for - spacious, with a west facing terrace, bright and so clean! It’s about a 25 minute walk into the centre, though there is a bus option. We like staying on the outskirts of town as you get to see more ‘real life’. I’ve given 4 rather than five stars for the area just because it would have been nice to have more dining choices - that said, we had plenty of facilities to cook our own meals and there were 2 places to eat which were nice. "Very neat and spacious room, but a bit far from the historical centre. However, there’s a bus station at walking distance, around 500m. If you’re coming by car it’s an excellent option, but if you just finished “o Camiño do Santiago” then your feet won’t appreciate it much :-)"

"Both bedrooms smelled very bad because of the bathroom pipes. We felt we slept in a sewer. Terrible night sleep because windows had to be opened and there were a lot of mosquitoes coming in the room. We woke up with multiple mosquito bites. Also, when booking it did not state an additional charge for a late check, but we were told that there would be a late check charge after 9pm. "

"I turned up at 7pm and couldn’t get in rang the phone number numerous times and no answer. Had to stay somewhere else in the end. The following day I was txting the owner and he/she said that Expedia were trying to can’t act me to tell me I had to be there before 6. This was a lie and since then I cannot get a refund. Hotels.com are just as bad as they have told they me tried to contact owner but because they can’t get hold of them they’re not pursuing it. I’ve been robbed "
