"We started our trip here after getting into Florence late. If you want to feel like you’re staying in an ancient Italian villa this is the spot for you. On the map it doesn’t look like it’s going to be much, but it’s on a large grounds which has beautiful landscaping and is lovely to take a walk around. The original architecture was very charming. We stayed in the king deluxe room which has a rooftop terrace which gives a stunning panoramic view of Florence as well as the grounds. The only issue we ran into was a long wait for hot water in the shower at the end of the day."

"On our visit to Wall Art Hotel it was being used by many tour groups for nearby Florence attractions, so the dining room was used by the tour groups only in the evenings, they accommodated us only one evening and turned us away the other. The room was clean and comfortable, but our room had a shower door issue where the door couldn't be closed all the way and water came out of the shower onto the floor. The parking garage under the hotel is convenient and room for the guests with vehicles, however there was not a button to open the garage and had to get clarification from the front desk. The hotel is about 3-4 blocks walk to the nearest train station that takes you in to Florence and the Airport. I would stay at this property again. It is conveniently located to dining options and downtown stores."

"What a great camping site. We stayed there 4 nights and were impressed with our accommodation and the site. It had lots of amenities and the pool was a nice refresh after being in the hot sun. It's also in a fab location for exploring the local area."

"We visited four very different parts of Italy and our stay at Fattoria Lavacchio may have been our favorite. One important thing to know that was a little tricky to figure out was that you check-in at “Casabella”. The property belonging to Fattoria Lavacchio includes multiple buildings spread along 1km or so of the road. Our room ended up being an apartment about 300m from Casabella (the building in the pictures here with the pool). There was not traditional a/c but we didn’t need it with the fans and air coolers they provided. We also loved sleeping with the windows wide open and no need for screens because no bugs!! Even in the hottest part of the summer!! We love star gazing at night, cooking class overlooking the winery, horseback riding, and dinner on the patio by the pool. We also enjoyed the breakfast with fresh juices and jams made there at Fattoria Lavacchio. They also make their own olive oil. We felt very relaxed and refreshed after our visit there. Wish we could have stayed longer!"
