Old property with many modern features. We stayed here as the hotel we usually stay in was closed due to a fall in demand due to the 2020 pandemic. Our room was of a good size with a particularly large balcony overlooking the lake. Everything was very clean and thought had been given to observing public health laws and keeping guests safe during the pandemic. We ate in the hotel on three occasions and were very impressed with the quality of the food and service...very attentive waiters focused on an attention to detail. Some of the spa services were not available which is understandable but the pool is perfectly acceptable with many sun loungers. The hotel is nicely situated for walks along the lake and getting to the beautiful town of Bardolino.

Dear Guest, thank you for your feedback. If the beds by the pool are not enough, we are always ready to put there more, just contact us, we are at your disposal, anytime. We are sorry and apologize if there were problems with your check-out before 7 am. Usually guests wanting to leave early in the morning or at night pay their bill in the evening before departure because the night portier is not in charge of check outs. It is true that we don`t have an animation team but we have the pool and a kid`s corner, what a pity that you didn`t like it. We send you our best regards from Lake Garda and hope you are enjoying a fine summer.

Great stay
Had a wonderful short stay here and was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a junior suite. The location is perfect with a short 5-10 minute walk to Bardolino. Breakfast was fine with plenty of options and Prosecco is also offered included in the price. Only downside was the bed and pillows are as hard as a rock but overall would recommend and stay here again

Good base to explore the lake
Good location on the lakeside and a short walk to the village of Bardolino. Very good breakfast and good service in the hotel. Only downside was our balcony overlooked a caravan site.

Good location
We stayed in the hotel annexe rather than the main hotel. This meant we felt inhibited to use the swimming pool, and never went to the main hotel except to check in and out as breakfast was served in the annexe. The differences were not made clear on booking. However the location of the hotel was great and it was a short walk into Bardolino. The room was reasonably comfortable, with a balcony which looked out over the lake.

Close to beach with own indoor/outdoor pool
Reception staff outstanding. Friendly, professional, helpful. All staff smiling and obviously take pride in their work which is reflected in the standards of the hotel. Family room for 2 of us was spacious and comfortable with very large bed. Closeness to the Lake for swimming and being able to easily walk into Bardolino was perfect for us. Only reason to mark it down was that the entrance to our part of the hotel was through the pool/wellness area which was a little shabby and felt as if we were in "second class" rather than a 4star hotel.

Great lakeside location
We had a great time here. Staff all lovely and helpful from check in to check out and all points in between. Delicious and substantial buffet breakfast with a great selection, including 2 types of gluten- free cereal. Location is fantastic. Very hot at Lake Garda when we were there, too hot to walk anywhere, but it's right on the lake so we just stepped from our sun loungers to the hotel's private jetty across the path and jumped in for a swim. Nice indoor/outdoor pool too. We had an evening flight home but they were very accommodating about minding our bags, and letting us use towels and their wellness centre changing and shower area to freshen up before we left - which is very nice and we were sorry we hadn't spent time in it earlier. Air conditioning is efficient - very important in the +35 degree C temperatures outside!

Good Hotel, close to the beach and town centre
Lovely hotel right beside the Lake and about a 15 minute walk from the town centre with its numerous shops and eating places. The staff at the hotel go out of their way to be helpful and welcoming.The room was a good size and the one we had was lake facing in the Bellevue section of the hotel. Rooms were spotless, which is a must for us and we had no cause for complaint at any time. A point to note is that the air conditioning in the room will not operate if the sliding door to the balcony is not fully closed. An excellent hotel and one we would happily stay at again. Garda and Lazise are a good 5-6 km walk and the path to them, as has been documented before, is busy with cyclists as well as pedestrians. Market day is Thursday and in Garda is on the Friday. A fantastic, picturesque location and one we'd revisit.

Amazing stay! The hotel is perfectly located a short walk to neighboring towns and beaches. Front desk staff are super helpful and gracious. Bike rentals. Boat rentals. Supermarket. Bus station. Everything is walkable. Wonderful!!

Overall the room was good. The room size was very large and had a deck off the room with a wonderful view. This was also walking distance to the main town with plenty of restaurants and things to do. My only complaints were the drinks we ordered from the bar and would have liked more of the pool to be outdoor rather than indoor.

Fantastic hotel in a perfect location
Hotel far exceeded our expectations in every way; Very clean, spacious room, comfy beds, balcony with amaizing view of Lake Garda. Private access to Lake and just a short 5 or 6 min walk into Bardolino which is a fantastic place. Breakfast great and the staff were so lovely, they even arranged our airport transfers. Best holiday ever! Every box ticked!

All you want at excellent value for money
After having trouble with nearby building works the actions of the receptionist were swift and extremely helpful-we were Moved within hours to a new room-the view was stunning. Staff from receptionist to waitresses at du lac beach and to young man that hired the bikes-Superb! We had a lovely stay

Very good 4 star hotel on Lake front
We were very pleased with all aspects of the hotel. Our room in the annexe was spacious with a lake view and large balcony. All areas of the hotel were very clean. The staff were efficient, friendly and courteous. We booked B&B and the selection of food at breakfast was excellent, we also enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace over looking the Lake. We used the swimming pool which is large (part open air, part under cover). The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of Bardolino town centre.

Great stay in Bardolino
Great location and the hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful. There's some great restaurants in Bardolino (away from the main tourist ones). Favourite (although not cheap) was La Veranda at Del Color Hotel which is just across the road from Du Lac.

Great location in Bardolino
In October this place is great as its not too busy. On the lake and a nice stroll to the town for dinner. The breakfast buffet has it all and their coffee kick starts your day. Exercise room and good sized indoor/outdoorool is sufficient for lap swimming. Helpful staff and friendly greetings from all of them.

Well located hotel on the lake front
Marginally outdated decor but hotel clean and comfortable. Not many rooms have lakeside views and these have been snapped up months before by regular guests that request a year in advance....From what I understand these rooms are not more expensive but available on request; so, it appears that if you have a room at the rear of the hotel overlooking the petrol station (as we did)......the cost is the same. The hotel guests are mainly of the mature type.... mostly German, with a smattering of British. However, breakfast is good. A varied choice that should suit most. We had one evening meal, which was tasty and fair value. It consisted of several small courses, but well presented and enjoyable.

Unser Zimmer befand sich im 3. Stock im Annex. Da mit Mansarde, war es ziemlich heiß. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte, aber für die Größe und Aufteilung des Zimmers war diese fast zu wenig. Das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Man merkt aber, dass ständig etwas saniert bzw. erneuert wird. Z.b. das Badezimmer wurde sicherlich restauriert und zum Teil auch erneuert. Zu erwähnen ist die Sauberkeit im gesamten Annex und auch im Garten und Restaurantbereich.
