Hotels near Barefoot Resort and Golf

"We stayed on the condo side of the property so I'm only reviewing that. We got to the room and there were 2 large garbage bags, full, on the floor just outside of our room. These stayed for a day and a half. The room was very old and outdated. The bathroom was the worst. Dirty, patched holes all over, moldy ceiling and shower. Garbage still in the room from the prior guests when we arrived. Paid to upgrade to an ocean front room. Very disappointing to have to look across the pool to see it. Not the ocean front I was expecting. Check in and out were smooth and staff was friendly. I don't do these reviews often because everyone has their own standards but this was such a disappointment that I want to share it with others who are deciding where to stay. I wouldn't recommend the condo side. I can't speak to the hotel side."

"loved our stay here. The only issue was that someone was smoking weed on the balcony of their room every night and the smell filled our room also. If not for that,the stay was wonderful!"

"Very dated and needs to remodeled. Tub bottom was slanted and very hard to stand in. Definitely better options in the are in this price range. "

"First room we received was horrible, stains on couch, bed and curtains. We had a standard two bdrm on north tower. The king bed also had 2 big lumps on opposite sides of bed like someone had been sleeping there forever. Outdated furniture. Also stains on ceiling. When we went to address the issues the clerk Kevin immediately resolved the isuues without hesitation. He simple have us another room that was like night and day in the south tower. This one was cleaner and brighter. I hate that you don't know exactly what you are getting until you get there. I think they are overpriced, i paid over 2grand for 5 nights and recently I've been getting airbnbs, but i wanted to be on the beach. I've spent less going to Florida. I wouldn't go back unless the rooms were extremely cheaper. The upper scale hotels like hilton etc were around the same or cheaper but booked, I'll make sure to book way ahead of time. Staff was the most pleasant thing and they do keep the pools very clean and the grounds. "

"The room that me and my friend stayed in wasn't it's best. The carpet had food or crumbs left on it, the floor had a stain (red like it was a blood), the toilet barely wanted to flush, we had to hold it down. The bathtub could've been better, a little dirt was in it. "
