The room did not quite appear as pictured and didn’t feel very secure inside, though the surrounding area is very safe. There were dirty dishes in the room when we arrived, and the entire bathroom is behind a glass wall with limited privacy (in case you’re traveling with family or friends).

Excellent place to stay

I stayed with my 7yrs old son for 3nights, got nothing to complain and everything was very thoughtful and satisfying. I highly recommend for anyone this accommodation!

Great location in old town

Great communication from the property on how to find it and the check in procedure. 2 flights of narrow steep steps to room itself but lovely old building. Nice big room. No iron available or provided. Would not hesitate to stay again

Lovely stay!

Lovely stay in the old town of Bari. Such a convenient location and so beautiful. Easy check in with a lovely, helpful lady. Room was a good size and had everything we needed for our stay. Lots of information provided to find the guesthouse prior to arrival and quick response to any queries from landlord.

Nice room in town center

Nice room, heart of oldtown, nice welcome gift, easy and friendly contact with owner during arriving and he ordered for us taxi to the airport. We recommend this appartment to everyone visiting Bari for some days.

Stairs are very dangerous and difficult to climb due to 28” wide and fan shaped! Breakfast was very poor with minimal options, crackers, jelly and cookies;no coffee! No 🛎️ one at site ti ask questions,with 3 apartments on a vertical wall. Small window to look out. Never again!

A little gem.

We spent 7 nights in Bari and the surrounding area and this room was our base. The room is in a quiet part of the old town. It is only a few minutes walk from restaurants and bars but remains tranquil. The room was spacious and comfortable and importantly the air conditioning was effective. The bathroom was large, the shower was nice and hot and flowed well. This is a lovely room in a great part of town.

Situata nella parte di Bari vecchia più vicina al porto, proprio dietro Piazza San Pietro. Una volta entrati, una ripida e stretta scalinata interna porta alle stanze. La mia, al primo piano, era ampia e silenziosa, il letto comodo, la colazione buona. Ottima struttura e soggiorno piacevole e soprattutto silenzioso. Host molto cordiale e pronto. Per il parcheggio, è necessario farlo fuori Bari vecchia.

Stunning place super cosy and extremely well located in the old city which has everything you will want to visit in town. It feels extremely safe. We were two girls travelling alone and felt safe compared to when we travel to other Italian cities. Our bus arrived early and they were kind enough to let us check in early they offered little snacks too, would definitely recommend

We had a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful location. The host, Tonio, was excellent communicating and providing directions to arrive late past check in. The property is very near the seawall and in the old town and so you expect it to not be sparkling new. That said, there are a few things that could be improved to make the small space more functional. Nice that there is a refrigerator (but no kitchen). We found it easy to walk to sites both in the old section and new, loved being in an area where people are living their lives and children are playing soccer in the in the nearby open space, and we always felt safe. We would come back again.

Está muy bien situado, pero no es un hotel, es un edificio con una habitación por planta y alquilan esas tres habitaciones, no hay ascensor, lo aviso por si alguien quiere contratar y no quiere/puede subir escaleras súper empinadas, hay una habitación en la planta a nivel de calle. Las sábanas son de algodón, las toallas son suaves, la ducha grande igual que el baño, el colchón cómodo. La vista, delante del mar. A tener en cuenta: durante la estancia, no van a entrar a haceros la cama ni a cambiaros toallas ni limpiar baño.

Lage ist für Besichtigungen ausgezeichnet. Mit dem Auto leider nicht erreichbar. Roomservice ist verbesserungswürdig. Bei einem Preis von 95 Euro pro Nacht sollte tägliche Zimmerreinigung selbstverständlich sein. Dass man nachfragen muss, wenn man neue Handtücher oder Toilettenpapier haben möchte entspricht nicht unserem Serviceverständnis. Leider ist es in der Nachbarschaft sehr laut. Lärm am letzten Abend bis 3:30 in der Früh.

We were right in the rabbit warren of Old Town and loved it. We received detailed instructions and photos to show us how to find the place, which would have been challenging otherwise because of the way the Old Town is laid out. The stairs to our suite were steep and narrow, but that was only an issue when we first arrived and had to lug suitcases up there (and back down when we left). The location was perfect; right in amongst the locals. Very quiet, very clean. The host left us some melba toast and one pat of cherry jam, but it wasn't a B&B anyway. The bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a floor to ceiling frosted glass wall, so it wasn't as private as some people might like. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and the host was quick to respond if we needed anything (like extra toilet paper). We would definitely stay there again. People have complained about how hard it can be to find the property, but Google Maps plus instructions and photos from our host led us straight there. No problem at all.
