Top Barrow Park Hotel Reviews
The Terrace - A St David Aparthotel
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic location close to the centre, docks, town hall etc. Very clean, beautifully equipped to a high standard in terms of bathroom facilities & with tea, coffee (nespresso type machine) etc. Sofa converted to sofa bed in my apartment which was fantastic! Breakfast to go is plentiful & means you can eat as early as you like (as breakfast basket is left in the room the day before needed). I highly recommend this accommodation. There are laundry facilities you can use for free & even a very pleasant courtyard to sit out in if the weather is good. We needed to contact the owners as couldn’t open the sofa bed (it hasn’t been used before so still had ties on from new!) A person came round to sort this out in less than 5 mins! Although there is no designated parking - there is free parking for up to 2 hours so that you can unload your belongings & free overnight street parking between 6pm - 8am. Calling the property owner before we arrived, they were helpful in guiding where to park during weekdays if required. Didn’t bother us at all, but you can hear the town hall clock chime on the hour if you’re a sensitive sleeper. The curtains are thick blank out ones though. Overall a great stay!! I’m glad we booked this property. Would have missed this little treasure if other larger places hadn’t have had twin bedroom options booked out! I highly recommend these apartments."
Duke Of Edinburgh Hotel
8/10 Good
"The Duke of Edinburgh hotel was a gem. I don’t know the history of the building but it’s older; that doesn't mean bad. They have done a great job of renovating the rooms, or at least ours was. It was one of the best rooms we’ve had on our trip. We also had dinner and a breakfast while there and the food at the restaurant/pub was excellent. It’s a short walk from the train station and I would recommend it for your stay."

Phoenix Guest House
8/10 Good
"wish there was fruit or bread or peanut butter there very little milk available some eggs would have been nice very old fashioned the toilets on bottom floor only and so the shower but basic a toaster look at pictures very deciving no sofas to sit on where was the host didnt meet him got access by key safe people there nice enough would stay again as chepest in that area not far from morrisons and quite only tv in room which had no control off"
Abbey Apartments
10/10 Excellent
"Check in and check out process is easy. Staff are friendly and easily contactable should you need anything. The location is perfect for what we needed; a business trip for one of us to visit an office with the other needing to work from the apartment. Tesco is a short walk or two minute drive for picking up supplies. The WiFi connection is excellent. The bed is comfortable, with plenty of storage space in the bedroom. The kitchen appliances are well maintained and modern. Having guaranteed, dedicated parking is the icing on the cake!"
