"Perfect location to visit Hull Uni. Parking available. Room was Ok but one ceiling light was not working. The bathroom was clean but needed some t.l.c. Bedroom was a good size and clean. good facilities. bed mattress was too soft for my wife and I but comfortable. Outside lights to the back of the property were still on around 1..30 pm which disturbed our sleep pattern a bit. In the morning 2 delivery lorries arrived (separately) and had some difficulty manoeuvring onto the rear car park. Might...

Good size room with large bed, plenty of tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits. Good breakfast supplied. Shower a bit dated, but clean with plenty of hot water. Spacious car park. "This is a lovely traditional country pub with friendly hosts and locals, attentive staff and a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. The food is home cooked pub food at its best and the breakfast was high quality and served to your own personal preferences. Nice walk by the Humber completed our enjoyable night escape. "The hotel didn't seem to be sure of our booking when we arrived. After that, the check in was swift. The room was grubby as was the bathroom. The duvet cover and the pillowcases were marked and clearly very old indeed. It was quiet and the location is great for visitors to Brigg. The price of the room was low and I suppose this was a case of ''getting what you paid for''"

"The pub restaurant has fantastic food and nice staff although the room was cold already when we arrived and an extra electric radiator was is place. We woke up at the middle of the night and all central radiators were off, we musste take the kids into our bed to warm up! The radiator was on only at 6:30 am. Not recomendável during winter time "

"Booked a twin room which they'd double booked our room but they did managed to sort out 2 single rooms which actually worked much better for my housemate and I. Overall the building is very rustic and quite quaint, the rooms are decently sized, the beds are comfy enough for the short term and the bathroom is very modern. Unsure if there's wifi as I didn't have any for the whole stay but as i was visiting to see family it didn't really bother me that much."

"My advice to anyone going to Beverley do not stay at the game bird it should be shut down because in my opinion it is a health hazard my breakfast was not cooked it was cremated never again"

"The owners were really helpful. I informed them beforehand I was arriving late, but I was even later than planned and they had no problem with this. It was a friendly welcome and I just needed a bed as a base for wildlife photography at Bempton and this fitted the bill. There was a bit of wear and tear in the room, but it was clean and a nice building. And great value for money. I would stay again."

"A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great. The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10"
