"An authentic experience. Ravenna doesn't have easy access to taxis or Uber that we could see. We arrived at the train station from Rome and took the local train one stop to Classe (the South Western part of town). It was a relatively short walk from the Classe train stop using Google maps since the hotel is not visible from the stop. We ate at the on-site restaurant which is very authentic. No English on the menu. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. It appears to be a place for locals to go for special occasions. Overall a very nice experience. "
"One of the oldest, if not the oldest hotels in Ravenna. Great character, very well maintained with very helpful and pleasant staff. Restaurant with inside/outside seating and great food and drink. Ideally located within easy walk to station and central to the old city Unesco sites, etc. We only stayed one night but regret not staying for more. Next time. "
"Delightful staff here who were very helpful. Hotel's situation is most convenient for exploring the treasures of Ravenna. Spotlessly clean. If anything, it looks slightly tired around the edges. Nice garden which could be developed more but presently home to agressive mosquitoes. "

The hotel itself is very beautiful, with elegant leather sofas in a couple of sitting rooms and tables on a private outdoor area. The free breakfast was exceptional and plentiful.
