Staff and security was great. The room would smell like mold if you used the dehumidifier setting and TV didn't work.internet was quick enough for 4k streaming. Bed and pillows to soft for my taste, smelled fresh and clean no stains.

We decided to stay here because we liked the location and understood that the hotel had been completely renovated (and opened in March). However, the hotel was still undergoing renovations and large sections were closed off (especially by the lobby). We also didn't like that there was a $33 valet charge every night (not listed on your website) with no option for self parking. The valet made it appear very scary to do street parking downtown and offered no other options.

The upgrades are nice. It’s still a process to completion. The staff was awesome super friendly. 10 out 10. The only & main concern is the parking garage they use if you don’t valet. The walk is not bad but at night the area to pass is very sketchy especially coming from the casino or parking garage at night there’s a lot of transients in the area. I suggest don’t walk by yourself after dark females & males. By the way valet is $33 a day. Ridiculous!

The property was clean and lovely. The door to the bathroom offers no privacy and is difficult to close and open. There is construction and parking and entry is not clearly marked. I was looking for a hotel casino and that is what this was advertised. However we had to shuttle to the casino, which was 1.6 miles away. There was a temporary casino you could walk around the property to the second floor of a parking garage which was a little scary. There was no restaurant on property so for that we could have stayed anywhere else.

This is an older property that is recently renovated. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the linens and pillows were great. The decor is an industrial look with exposed concrete beams and concrete ceiling, and the colors are greys and black. The ceiling in the room is 8’ and in the bath cieling is slightly lower. The dark colors and low ceiling combined with only one central window gave the room a rather dismal feeling. The main concern will be eliminated when construction of the adjoining casino is complete. Until then there are no dining options in the hotel and parking is not available in site. Valet parking is $33/nt plus tax. On the positive side, the hotel is very convenient to the convention center and riverfront. Just beware of the limited amenities until casino construction is finished.

This COULD have been a really nice stay. The location was immaculate, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel appeared to have been rushed to functional status and was missing many basic features. First, there was no on-site parking, meaning that we needed to park in the casino parking lot about a block around the corner from the facility. In LA heat, that is a walk, and usually ends up with you sweaty upon return to the facility. They DID have valet parking available, but that was a $33 per day expense. There wasn't really clear signage to direct visitors to the correct parking garage, as there was also one that the valet service used to park valet cars, that you could be towed from if not cleared from the valet company. Upon entering the room, we noticed that there was no workspace available in the room, meaning there was just a bed, a chair and a TV stand, with no desk or additional seating. When eating or working, you either had to eat on the bed, or use the ottoman to work from. There was also no clock/alarm in the room. There was no fridge or microwave in the room, so there was no where to store or heat food. There was a bathroom vent fan, but it was non-functional, even after trying all switches in the bathroom. Additionally, there were no shower hooks for towels, leaving us to hang our towels on screws on the shower door. Overall, it's a nice hotel, but for the price and listed ammenities, it should have been complete.

Expedia did not make it clear that this property is still under renovation. While the renovations that are completed seem to be of really good quality, there is still much to be done. The rooms itself was very nicely renovated, although the television did not work in the first room we were in, and I had to call three or four times to get moved to another room and in general staff, while polite and earnest, were just not as knowledgeable as they needed to be. There was much apologizing going on. The casino is a shuttle ride away and customers are taken to a sister property for gaming. There is no restaurant onsite, but a small case where they sell pastries and coffee, which we did not patronize. The "bar" is three very small tables in the same area of the pastry case where you can stand and drink a beer or glass of wine, which we also did not patronize. The noise in the lobby was actually frightening when we walked into the space. It sounded like things were crashing over head and part of the ceiling is glass. It will probably be a lovely facility when it is finished, but that will probably take a couple of years and in the meantime, we would not go back. I wish Expedia had been more forthcoming with information about the renovations going on and the lack of dining facilities. It was a disappointment.
