We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Baton Rouge. The room was nice, although this is the first hotel I’ve been in a while that didn’t have carpeting. I really liked the layout of the shower. We were able to order the right amount of food at the restaurant downstairs. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Limited tv selections No balcony:( No overhead lighting(only 1 in entire room & none by full length mirror) makes hard to apply makeup at the extra mirror Happy hour changed & only gave you 2 hrs vs. the 3 before:( & no wine options on happy hour :(

Not worth the stay
The check-in was great, but once we got to the room we notice there was no microwave and the refrigerator was not on. There was only 2 sets of bathroom towels. No extras at all. I called the front desk and they were like you can come down from the 11th floor and heat up your food in the lobby. That crazy!! Then to make it worse we had to pay $4 for a cup of coffee.

First hay, the room mas not clean. Remaining days the housekeeping services were mediocre. When we talk to the management about why the room mas not clean, we feel ignored and not even an apology mas given ( or a form of compensation for the pre paid services not rendered). The only comentary by the top management was that they will investigate the incident. Completely unprofessional and taking advantage that the room mas PRE PAID. Certainly you expect more professionality from the Mariott brand.
