"Got there late in the evening after having made a reservation online. They said they didn't have any rooms left. I told them I had reserved online and showed them my confirmation but they kept saying they were full. They offered to give me a room for the following night which would have been useless for the night I needed. So I told them I wanted a refund since I had already paid online. "Large room, quiet, very comfortable bed (mattress on the floor). Unfortunately it was let down by the bathroom, which got completely wet due to the open shower and the shiny floor tiles then got very slippery. Quiet pool and small garden area, pretty enough to be used by a wedding couple for their photos during our stay. Not much in the immediate area in terms of food options but we discovered Cafe Eden on the other side of the river, an easy walk for good food. "

"As I walked in I was struck by how filthy the pool was. You couldn't see the first step it was so mirky. There were no lights around the pool and the reception was a muddle. The receptionist slept on the sofa and was reluctant to help. Breakfast on the first morning took 40 minutes to arrive from somewhere else and was inedible.
