"The hotel itself was really good. It's very quiet, and the room is excellent for the price you pay. However, it's a long walk into town, and the area around it is under construction, so outside the hotel itself is rather dirty. But overall, I liked it very much."

"Tampah Hills was nothing we had ever experienced before. Our "room" (villa!) was extremely spacious, and our group of 8 never felt we were too close to each other. Everything is brand new, and you feel this is truly something special. Service was personal and warm. The area is beautiful and we are already planning our return next year!"

"Very nice place, peaceful, quiet place (looks quite new at the time of writing - May 2015). Room was clean, somebody even cared enough to add descriptions to light switches so you know which switch does what, there was a water dispenser in the living room and a movie available to watch. "The location was perfect, close to the shopping area and Restaurants. The beach was literally in front of the hotel, you need just to cross the road and are arrived. The hotel is a nice building, our twin room was very big. However, unfortunately, none speaks English or understand it. It has been so difficult even to ask simple questions or ordering a Cappuccino. The bath towels were always stained and the drain in the shower wasnt working properly, so during and at the end of a shower most of the water was still on the shower floor. I truly suggest to improve those things because the hotel has a lot of potential. "

"The staff made a lot of effort to make us feel at home. Service was exceptional. We had multiple meals at the restaurant. We communicated to the hotel one morning that we were delayed for breakfast and the team managed to take our orders in advance and serve us post-breakfast hours. Food was good with enough variety. The team will check if we are comfortable with our orders. The same goes with the reception and spa. Special call out to Dina, Wulan and a few whom we didn't get the name. Always huge smiles on their faces. Rooms were new, clean and quiet enough. They provided ear plugs for the muslim prayers. Very thoughtful. Will be good to have better lighting in the master bedroom in the 2 bedroom villa. It was very dim and not conducive for reading. A gym will be great too!"

"Really lovely hotel, it’s quite secluded so you either happy to be happy staying at the resort for food (which is really nice) or venture out with taxis/scooters. The breakfast is really good and substantial. The staff are lovely and there is a nice spa on site. The beach is nice, clean and quiet. The only thing that lets the place down is the WiFi, it’s awful. "
