"A lovely place if you want to get away from everything. A rural setting and would be a wonderful location for children - cows and sheep in the fields around and plenty of facilities for them. Need your own transport to travel into Bayeux or Tilly Sur Seuilles. A choice of accommodation - we had a nice chalet. There are wigwams, yurts, caravan. The whole site has a quirky atmosphere but is quite magical. Proprietor very friendly. "

"Toilet area is a bit “Heath Robinson” in that the wash basin and shower are, for all intents and purposes, in the bedroom. Little sound privacy on the toilet as well. Otherwise a nice, modern, clean hotel with great staff."

Beautiful chateau in the French countryside
"We had an incredible experience at the Chateau Saint-Gilles. The chateau was built in 1730 but has been completely renovated inside with all of the modern conveniences. Emerick, Anne-Sophie, Margot, and Barbara made sure everything was smooth. The grounds are stunning and the hotel is a perfect distance to all D-Day locations. Breakfast and dinner were amazing and a great way to start and/or end the day. We will definitely go back."
