"The Gite du Capitaine is in a small village in the countryside. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast and dinner provided was good. The room and facilities were excellent. The house is rustic and full of antique furniture in great condition. "

"Nice quiet setting yet close to the main road through the town. The owners have clearly invested in maintaining and updating the hotel in recent years, including a new annex. "

"The staff was very helpful but we were very disappointed about the overall condition of the hotel and rooms which were very tired and in the process of being renovated. The restaurant was closed as a consequence. We paid quite a lot for the room much more than was advertised locally and had no knowledge of the disruption. Nothing on Expedia. Will think twice about using Expedia again. Don't like being taken for a ride."
