"The room had a funny smell near the front door, but the it was huge! The breakfast was good but the line up seemed unnecessary, there were always lots of empty tables but it just took a long time to seat people. They just needed more people working it. The beds are extremely soft. The hotel is in a fabulous location right on the boardwalk. It is a bit dated. I would stay again."

"We liked the property, parking is an option in front of the building, but is very limited so we had to pay at the parking lot $32 a day. You may have had to pay in front too, but it didn’t look that way. The first floor is actually 14 floors up, so it’s difficult to use the stairs. We were evacuated due to a bomb scare across the street and the staff were fairly helpful, not everyone spoke good English so it made things a little tricky. It was a very unusual circumstance. It’s very walkable to the Halifax Boardwalk, the casino and the convention centre. We wished there was a breakfast option, otherwise it was nice."

"The staff were amazing. Our only complaint was we stayed for 5 nights. They emptied garbage cans and made our bed and cleaned bathroom everyday. But unfortunately they never wiped the tables off in main area and did not vacuum our room. We tidied our room everyday and made sure nothing of ours was on the counter space. But other than that the stay was great and we would definitely stay there again."
