"Very nice room overlooking the beautiful garden. Although it was a very hot night, with the windows open all around I got a cooling breeze from the garden. The area was quiet. Easy walking distance to cafes, shops, restaurants and the market. Secure parking."
"I am writing this especially to express my sincere gratitude to Lise the receptionist of the hotel. She was extremely helpful when I forgot my wallet in the room I stayed in. She was very polite and friendly to help me with packing and mailing it to me. She went the extra mile by emailing me to inform me of every step.
Thank you Lise, you are amazing!"
"Green Home/Maison Coquelin.
Parking, plentiful. Restaurant, adequate but limited menu. Garden, lush and peaceful. Location, La Roche Guyon. Stunning town with access to green space along the River Seine. Hosts, friendly.
Hotel negatives: Public areas – the bin in the dining room toilet was full on two consecutive mornings; the peddle function did not work and we had to open the lid manually. The wash hand basin had not been cleaned thoroughly with evidence of an accumulation soap scum around the base of the tap.
Guest accommodation – we stayed for three nights in heatwave conditions. Throughout our stay we had the same bed sheets (we know this because the bed wasn’t made up for us). We had fresh towels on arrival but had to ask for replacements on the next two days. Unfortunately, the bathroom was unventilated, leading to damp, sour smelling towels. Ordinarily, we wouldn’t ask for fresh towels on a daily basis. The only waste facility was a very small (non-functioning) peddle bin in the bathroom; nothing in the bedroom itself. The bin filled quickly, leading to an overspill of rubbish on the bathroom floor.
Whilst this appears to be a litany of gripes – it isn’t. We simply hope that this feedback is accepted in the spirit it is offered, in an attempt to make guests’ stays more comfortable and generate recommendations for future bookings. This is an honest and fair reflection of our experience at this guest house and wish Meng and Arthur every success for the future."
"Great location, right opposite the cathedral complex, 5-10 walk to the main square where the restaurants bars etc are.
New modern hotel, breakfast is excellent"
"The Hotel itself is just beautiful and worth 4 stars.Close to the airport and Beauvais town. Two eateries on the site Buffalo Grill, which is highly reccomended and MacDonald's.You can reach town by foot and the airport if haven't got heavy luggage and weather conditions allow. There is very nice bar at hotel with access to the rear garden.Rooms are spacious, with good beds and bedlinen, good lighting, plenty of sockets, very quiet.Perfect air conditioning.Bathroom has all you need even bath tube.Breakfast was beautiful, big variety for Continental Breakfast except coffee machine was out of order that morning, but when asked the receptionist she has brought me my coffee. So,you have to ask for hot water to make a cup of tea or coffee, otherwise seems nobody cares.
Have stayed here 3 years ago and didn't have any problem with booking a Taxi.During this stay the receptionist has failed to call a Taxi to the airport despite when asked during check-in she made me sure there wouldn't be a problem. And in the morning it looked that this is fully guest's responsibility."
"Convenient for BVA airport passengers, it’s pretty much like rest and proceed facilities. It’s clean and decent to take some rest proceed to your next destination."
"What a delightful hotel. The hotel is situated in extensive rural grounds that are easy to walk around and use. The hotel vegetable garden and green house was a delight to see and to know it ends up on the restaurant plates is even better. The main function rooms of the hotel are classic, beautiful and restful and we used them each day to take a complimentary tea or coffee either mid-morning or at the end of the day. You really feel like you are in a friends country home rather that a hotel and the owners were around most days to chat to. Yes, I'd love to come back.
The only downside was the Tuesday evening meal on arrival - the restaurant was closed that evening and so an alternate meal was prepared, but it really was very poor and insubstantial - I'd recommend finding somewhere else if the main restaurant is shut (as it is Monday and Tuesday)."
