"Room was luxurious and location excellent - peaceful but accessible from main road through village. Plenty of parking as the 2 rooms are behind the village cafe which has lots of parking space. Because they're round the back it's peaceful and there's a nice garden area with seating to enjoy in fine weather. Shower was good too. Big advantage if you're a late riser - breakfast is 9 - 11 and checkout till 12! Only quibble is you eat in the cafe which can get very busy at weekends and we waited ages to even give our order and when the food came they'd got my partner's order wrong. Mistakes can happen when staff are busy but no apology was forthcoming. That said, we'd stay there again but maybe not at the weekend!"

"Very clean room. Food in the restaurant was excellent and would definitely recommend the Seafood chowder. The breakfast was plentiful and again recommend either the vegetarian full English or the omelettes"

"We have just stayed here for 4 nights and would highly recommend. The room was very clean and had everything we needed .Even though we were on the ground floor at the back we did not experience any noise from the bar or restaurant. In fact the only noise we heard was the cars on the gravel in the car park. The food was excellent there was so much choice for breakfast. The evening menu was amazing all locally sourced food. We tried several dishes and all of them were so tasty and the portions were just right. This place is a little gem in a lovely quiet village. If you are visiting this part of the country stay here you won’t be disappointed!"
