"Excellent hotel and restaurant but with a caveat. There is a heavy duty sales operation going on in the restaurant where they try and sell the blue lobster pasta anyone who enters. It was, to be fair, delicious, but beware! The cost is way beyond London prices but cleverly hidden by a misleading ’per 100g’ price that lulls you into a false sense of security. This dish for two plus a bottle of their cheaper wine was €450. Which is more than you’d pay in a much swankier London restaurant. I did like the place but couldn’t avoid the ongoing suspicion that they see guests as people to exploit rather than people to delight…. It left a slightly bitter taste despite what was, overall, an excellent experience."

"This property was perfect for our stay on the bay. It was close enough to old city to bike, which the hosts provided. There were lounge chairs to sit right on the bay to sun bathe and swim. Multiple restaurants and a bakery within walking distance. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely stay here again!!!"

"The owners are very kind and helpful. They helped me get a taxi to the airport and helped with storing my bags after check out. The apartment is spacious and has a nice outdoor space. I didn’t really enjoy Kotor or Dobrota as it’s very difficult to get around even if you rent a car. There’s not much around in terms of restaurants and supermarkets, for example you have to walk quite a bit just to get breakfast unless you cook at home and there’s a tiny convenience store 6 mins walk away but it’s limited. I wouldn’t go back to Kotor but glad I ticked it off my list,"

"Lovely little hotel, felt really intimate and unique, with nice stone walls and interesting decor. The main guy on reception - whose name I'm ashamed to have forgotten but he lives 50m down the road from the hotel - was absolutely brilliant, his English was excellent and he served as more of a concierge than a receptionist. He was very knowledgeable and we had a great chat on our last night. All other staff were friendly as well. A la carte breakfast was nice, with fresh fruit and yoghurt also provided, and you can enjoy great views as you take it out on the private lakefront terrace, from which you can also take a swim in the lake and make use of the complimentary towels and blankets in reception. The room was cosy, with a very powerful shower, comfortable bed, and an AC unit. Not completely soundproofed, but we didn't find that a problem. Wi-fi was not very good, which wasn't a problem for us as I got an eSim for the trip, and the 4/5G is excellent throughout the country. If renting a car, there should be ample parking spaces, even if you can't get a space right out front. I would mention that the road leading up to the hotel is a nightmare to drive on, if there are cars (or god forbid a bus!) coming the other way it can be very stressful, to the point where I refused to drive the next day, instead opting for the hour long walk into Kotor Old Town"
